Conference Calendar

Last updated May 18, 2013.  Conferences that have already happened have been moved to the bottom of the list.

It’s a new year, which means a whole new year of conferences!  I love conferences; meeting new people in the field, attending sessions full of new ideas, it’s completely refreshing.  All the better if I’ve never been to the place where the conference is being held so that I have the chance to explore a new location (not that I mind a conference close to home).  Here’s a list of the conferences that I’m aware of for this year in the museum, historic preservation, public history, material culture, place, main street, and architectural history fields.

I will update this post regularly and will keep it on the menu bar of the blog so that you may refer back to it as you fill up your conference calendar.  If you know of a conference in these or related fields that I have not listed, please let me know.

The conferences that I plan on attending I have made bold.  Let me know if you are going to be there.  We can meet up and get coffee or something!

  1. What an excellent resource to have! Seeing them all gathered all together like that and understanding the volume of conferences dedicated to historic preservation is heartening.
